Just as the name says, there is a very large rock on the way to Squamish on highway 99/sea-to-sky that you can camp behind. Its original purpose is a dirt road leading to a memorial overlooking the water but it seems to have been repurposed as a common boondocking spot. Road noise is surprisingly tolerable since the rock creates a nice barrier from the highway and the views are absolutely stunning. Best suited for vans or smaller campers as there’s not much room to turn around and be prepared to share the space with other vehicles.
