Aguirre Springs

Absolutely beautiful campground within the Organ Mountains overlooking the town of White Sands. This is a self-pay campground that is half price with a senior, access or annual parks pass. Each designated site has a covered picnic table, fire pits and grills and space for a camper and/or tent. There are also vault toilets and water is available from the camp host before you enter the campground. One thing to keep in mind is that the gate closes at 6 or 7PM (can’t quite remember…phone the camp host) so you must plan accordingly to arrive before then. But you 100% should because this place is glorious. The vehicle pads aren’t very big and the road in is a single lane tightly winding road so it’s definitely best suited for smaller rigs.
