A beautiful park tucked away from the city with great walking trails and the perfect beach to watch the sun set over the mountains. There are 3 different parking lots: 2 are on the east side of the road along the water and the other is a large lot on the west side. We stayed in the large lot because it was far less active than the other two. There are no signs designating parking hours and we stayed one night without issue. Not advisable for big RVs but there is a fair amount of space. There is also a bathroom with a vault toilet in each parking lot that closes at 10:30 PM and many trash bins and picnic tables. The park is close to a small airport but was surprisingly pretty quiet. We stayed in the winter and there were lots of dog walkers in the evening so I imagine it gets fairly busy in the summer.
