Part of the (massive) Richard J. Dorer Memorial Hardwood State Forest, this nice grassy spot tucked in the forest borders the small, but lovely Gribben Creek. Less than 15 minutes away from the cute little town on Lanesboro, the dirt road gives way to a large clearing with room for a few campers. There’s a large firepit in the middle but no other facilities. As mentioned, there is a creek right behind the spot that is apparently stocked with trout and makes for a fun catch-and-release fishing spot. Wouldn’t recommend this spot for big rigs but it’s perfect for vans, small campers (c class) and tents. Be sure to pack it in, pack it out! Also worth noting that we didn’t have any cell service with AT&T until we were back in Lanesboro. OH and in mid-July, there were no shortage of bugs…

Max stay is unspecified, but I’d assume it’s 7-14 days.
