Gorgeous lakeside camping nestled high in the mountains 30 minutes outside of Fernie. The road up the mountain is a little steep but in good enough shape for a small RV or regular car to make it. There are 3 designated sites with picnic tables and fire pits and there’s a vault toilet somewhat hidden in the trees. There were a fair amount of people there when we arrived on a sunny Sunday afternoon in May but we were the only ones that stayed the night so it was very peaceful and private. The lake has TONS of fish that put on a jumping show as the sun goes down and there were even two beavers swimming around the small lake once the other folks left. If we didn’t have to be somewhere the next day, we would have stayed here a while.

Max stay is 14 days.
