Beautiful waterfront recreation area that’s easily accessible from highway 19. There are 3 campsites, each with a picnic table, fire ring and a lovely view of the mountains across the lake. The sites are really nicely spaced out and there’s one outhouse across from the first campsite. It’s only about 3.5 km on a well-maintained dirt road from the highway, making it easy access from Campbell River. The only downside to the dirt road (Rock Bay Road) being so close to the campground is that it’s used quite often so road noise is common. No cell service or other facilities. This spot would work for tents, smaller motorhomes and van/truck campers but the turn to get in is pretty tight (we couldn’t make it in one go at 19′).
Max stay is 14 days.
