Nicely wooded campground on the shores of the Squamish River in Upper Squamish (about 35 min from Squamish proper and 1.5 hrs from Vancouver). There are 9 campsites with a fire ring and picnic table and 2 outhouses to share. We went on a long weekend in November and it was packed thanks to warm weather. Very popular spot for catch & release salmon fishing and eagle viewing. Grizzly bears are very common in the area (though we didn’t see any) so be bear aware and remember to keep all of your food locked in your vehicle. This is a great spot for tents and campers of all varieties but could be a bit tight for a big rig. No trash cans or other facilities so take all of your garbage with you. There is also no cell service within 15 minutes of the campground.
Max stay is 14 days.
