11 campsites along the lower Campbell Lake Reservoir make for a peaceful camping experience just 30 minutes away from Campbell River. You won’t have cell service but you will have outhouses, trash bins, picnic tables and a fire ring at every site. There is also an overflow camping area for the busier summer months. We camped in late November so we didn’t do much water exploring but the area is great for swimming, fishing and boating. It’s easy access for tents and pretty much any size camper, but you’d have to come early to find a level spot if you’re travelling with a big rig.
Max stay is 14 days.
**NOTE: This campground will be closed in 2020 and relocated to the other side of the lake (see last photo and further reading here)
