Beautiful secluded creekside spot. Part of the Cherokee National Forest, Tumbling Creek has 8 designated campsites with no facilities (there was a vault toilet but it is now locked). We ended up having the place to ourselves but we hear it’s quite popular with the locals and can get rowdy on the weekends. The road in is a little rough but we made it fine with RWD. Also, there’s a local BBQ joint called Bradford’s right when you turn off the highway that is super tasty.
Max stay is 14 days.
